Ukrainian defenders struck the former SBU building in Russian-occupied Lysychans'k that was used as a headquarters by the rashists.

Serhiy Haidai, head of Luhansk Regional State Administration says almost 100 Russian terrorists belonging to the "2nd Army Corps" were killed.

So after it was shown that it is 1.5 months old, you stick to your guns about this being current and why Ukraine needs to negotiate today?

People that post Ukraine is losing or Ukraine is winning or Russia is winning, etc. only reveal a projection of their personal bias.

Without a definition of what winning is for Russia or losing is for Ukraine, the statement is otherwise near meaningless.

From a perspective of Ukraine being a much smaller nation having been invaded by a much larger nation, the resistance they have managed to date could be considered a win for them and a loss for Russia. If you merely look at territory gained v territory lost to date, then it could be considered Russia is winning and Ukraine is losing. If one looks at it from a big picture and longer term perspective, it could be argued that Russia has already lost and whether Ukraine wins or loses is TBD.

I think the argument can be made they’re both losing. Russia’s reputation has taken a huge hit and they’ve suffered significant casualties and loss of equipment.

You have a right a to voice your opinion about the USA supplying Ukraine with aid, and you have a right to elect ppl who decide if the USA should be supplying/aiding Ukraine, and you can exercise that right in November. However, the USA as a whole, which includes government and taxpayers, does not have the right to tell Ukraine to give up its land to Russia. That is for the Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian ppl to decide.

I guarantee if we turned off the money spigot their a** would want peace talks asap.

Complain to your congressman and Senators then since all the congressional delegation from SC votes yes on aid to Ukraine.

That is probably the most accurate assessment of the war. Russia is losing because they have suffered significant losses in men, equipment, money, and international prestige/influence, and they still have not secured any of their main objectives such as regime change or even control of the Donbas 6 months into what they thought was going to be a war that would last less than 6 days. Ukraine is losing because it too is suffering loses in men, equipment, and money plus the fact that it has been invaded and everything that goes with it. However, the war is far from finished and those ppl who are saying that Ukraine should negotiate peace before it loses more are probably the same people who think a sporting event is over because one team is trailing in the 2nd quarter.

The US wants to give the Ukraines all they can use

Thanks for the link earlier, but can you provide some context or a source that isn't over a month old since this is facts and not emotions?

Both sides started the war with roughly 200,000 -250,000 troops in the conflict zone. Since the start of the conflict Ukraine has suffered 15,000 - 25,000 KIA, but it has activated and trained between 500,000 - 750,000 reservists. Plus Ukraine has more equipment and more modern equipment than it had at the start of the war thanks to captured Russian equipment and supplies from former Warsaw Pac nations. Russia has sustained anywhere from 40,000 to 75,000 KIA, has been unable to raise its stated goal of 40,000 replacement soldiers through activating reserves and conscription. Russia has been forced to bring in mercenaries, and have reportedly accepted 100,000 troops from North Korea. Given all of that information, it seems more likely that Russia will run out of troops first.

I guess that is why over 20 recruiting centers in Russia have been the victim of arson lately.

Russian occupiers moved their families out of the cities of Kherson and Melitopol days ago. Overnight, the Kerch bridge was closed to public traffic so regime officials could evacuate their families from occupied Crimea.

The Russian occupation authority left Kherson in the last week of July. The Russian military command left Kherson over the weekend, and now Russia is evacuating their families.

Even more recent info.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate reported that no less than 24 planes and 14 helicopters had been transferred out of airfields in Crimea.

The Russian Air Force and Russian Naval Aviation units are leaving Crimea for mainland Russia.

If the Russians are winning then why are they fleeing southern Ukraine and Crimea, which they consider to be part of Mother Russia?
