Geauxxx was arguing that Putin doesn’t care how many men he loses if it takes Ukrainian units away from Kherson.
But without much geographic cover over there, they would be sitting ducks for some more missle strikes whenever they travel on a roadway. So it may not even achieve the goal of taking soldiers away from Kherson.

Although Putin will continue to bomb innocent civilian targets, he clearly hasn’t succeeded in intimidating Ukrainians.
