The Whitehouse are idiots. Warehouses are close to full way down the supply chain. I have been talking with one on the Mississippi in Missouri. At this rate another month will have no room under roof. LSB pulled a plant out of mothballs to capitalize on the price last fall. CF Industries continues to increase capacity and makes 40% of all fertilizer in the USA at Donaldsonville, LA

You have zero clue about this market Mr. International Businessman,

Oxford cannot figure out whether it is a Rebel Battle Flag, a Landshark flag or a Black Bear flag.

There are plenty of conservatives who support beating Russia in Ukriane, including those who have been with Trump for a decade as part of his campaign team. Yes he began assembling a team that long ago

I also think the Ukrainian flag bs is dumb. I’ve posted about the stupidity of the Ukraine billboards in major and non-major US cities alike early on. You’re firing indiscriminately like the Russians do.

Also, the whole Ukrainian flag deal on social media isn’t new. Everyone did those French flag silhouette on their profile picture for their terrorist attach years ago. It’s morphed into the gay pride border on profile pics and on and on. These are largely the same people who are not the same people in this thread in general.

B) I don’t support any of the ones you named, think Iraq was a terrible idea that has lead to far more instability in the region, including in part the Syrian civil war.

Considering that I put my hands physically on a decontaminated unit which an Iraqi born R&D chemist had repurposed to make chem weapons agents in CA, I beg to differ. That was in 2002 and he came forward to management after 9/11 to confess. Saddam was holding his entire extended family hostage back in Iraq. All R&D operations were moved to corporate facilities in Midland, MI. The unit was a pilot plant which had been used for herbicides and pesticides which are not much different than chem weapons agents. Castor oil was once used for as raw material for now banned boll weevil insecticide and now used for Ricin.

The big problem was that the Bush Admin believed Iraqi expats on the follow up to toppling Saddam. They should have kept at least some Baath Party members involved in the reconstruction, and governance in post war Iraq, but didn't. Instead the post toppling handling was a clusterfark

I don’t know where we are at this moment, but last month we were 49% to average crop yield where the year before we were at 86%. What do you think is going to happen when Biden tells restaurants to limit their hamburgers to single paddies and parents to limit their kids caloric intake to 1,200 calories a day?

Biden is gonna have a shatty story to tell coming up to the mid-terms and then 2024. He'll blame it on the Russians and 81 million people will believe him.

Kherson is the region which has been brought under the new Russian occupation most comprehensively since February. Finding a constitutional solution for the occupation is likely a priority policy objective for Russia. It will highly likely be prepared to rig voting to achieve an acceptable result.
In March nearly half the people had fled Kherson anyway. The rest aren't allowed to leave unless they go to Russia.

Yeah, and it’s so easy to show them that they’re full of shite just with one sentence:

These types are very situational warmongers. If a D says to fight, they're all over it.

More harm has been done in the name of morality than any other value, including greed. Religious right and progressive left are two sides of the same goddamned coin.

There are some very good conversations going on here today. I don't see many insults either. Free speech as it should be. Kudos!

According to many posters in this thread the Russian army is incompetent and has been all but destroyed by Ukraine. How are they going to invade 3 more countries?

Then they should be prevented from "taking" Ukraine. And if Ukraine is split, we should guaranty the security of what remains.

Also keep in mind that everyone in this thread cheering on this war don’t give a single frick about what we’ve been doing in Syria, Libya, Yemen, or Somalia. So I’m not going to hear it how I’m the heartless one when all that’s going on.

First off, frick you. I've been saying the same thing about Syria, Libya, Yemen, etc. for a long time on this board. Hell the majority of my posts between 2012 and 2018 were about ME politics, none of them have been pro-war, and nearly all were critical of US policy. Your arse didn't even know about Trump and Yemen and then pretended to be anti-war, trying to pin the whole conflict on Biden. Stop trying to do this hierarchical game that you love doing. You aren't better than anyone because you have superficial understanding of topics that have been in the news the last decade.
