From what I read in a few places the bulk of the fighting last night (their night) was in the Western part of Kyiv. Let's be on the lookout for reports of escalation in other parts of the city.

You ain’t wrong. But bear in mind Russia has every possible advantage imaginable, not the least of which is a common border, intimate knowledge of the enemy territory, and countless intelligence assets long in place. In some ways like Texas invading Louisiana as far as those things anyway.
