I get the feeling that the west may be tiring of this war. Reporting now is Ukraine without an abundance of additional help/material, won't be able to continue.
The of defense ministers from countries providing weaponry to Ukraine are meeting this coming Wednesday in Brussels. There may be some additional announcements regarding heavy weapons - which are key for Ukraine continuing the fight. If not then you may be right.
Media coverage will come and go depending on other competing news events.
The MLRS have yet to see action. The ones given by the U.S. were described as "the first tranche". Will probably start to hear about them more towards the end of June.

If it ends in 72 hours with a power like Russia, then we’re dead too.
Is Russia still viewed as a power anymore? Russia has lost so many tanks in Ukraine that its ground forces are now using unmodernized T62s in combat. The only way that Russia's air force survives the first 24hrs of WWIII would be if it fled into the interior of Russia and abandoned the fight. Without an airforce to protect its ground forces the Russia would be vulnerable to A10s, Apaches, Eurocopters, Cobras, and all the other NATO aircraft going HAM on the Russian ground forces. NATO already has forces in the Baltics and Poland. NATO could launch a ground offensive on Russia by busting through the few forces that has not deployed to Ukraine and then hauling arse down the M9 highway from Latvia to Moscow. If Russia has time to mobilize and train its reserves and/or redeploy its troops from Ukraine then it could stop NATO from reaching Moscow in 72 hours. However, if Putin just up and decides to declare war on NATO then it would not have time to prepare itself. The Russian people are proud people and they would rally around the flag as fast as any people in the world, but they are not stupid people. If Putin tries to use the war in Ukraine and NATO's assistance to the Ukrainians as a case to up and declare war on the rest then the Russian people would make sure that Putin succumbed to complication(s) from cancer quick, fast, and in a hurry.
Plus if the Russian nukes work as well as the rest of their military then half of them will not leave their silos, half of the ones that do will explode in mid air, and the rest will be intercepted by the USA's ABM systems.

1. Ukrainian people did that.
2. There have been 2 legitimate elections in Ukraine since then. So even if that argument was true it is past its expiration date.
3. We (the USA) was more concerned about turning the Arab world upside down. We did not give many shites about Russia or eastern Europe until Russia annexed Crimea.

They might have more nukes but how many actually, you know, work? Seems like just about every piece of Russian military equipment is completely run down and not maintained so we are supposed to believe all those Soviet era nukes are in prime condition? Not a chance. We could have 10% of their nukes and ours would still be able to do more damage because ours would actually fire and then go to where we aim them. Russia hasn’t figured that concept out with its artillery so I’m supposed to believe their nukes are precise? I’ll pass.

This is one narrative. But President Yanukovych by all appearances was a Russian stooge. The impetus for his removal was public protests. The same day he fled (to Russia) he was removed from office in a unanimous Parliamentary vote. The uprising was not democratic but a vote was an appropriate democratic step for his removal.
I don't credit Americans with the competence to motivate a public Ukrainian uprising or majority (let alone unanimous) democratic vote in Ukrainian parliament. We're historically more likely to bungle interference abroad. And clearly the Russians heavily interfered with all sorts of Ukrainian politics - including installing Russian sympathetic politicians and lobbying against Ukraine's economic interests (proximity with other European nations).

They’ve got more nukes than we do.
But do they work?

If we defeat Russia, the largest country in the world, in 72 hours, the only reasonable conclusion is nuclear holocaust for the northern hemisphere.
Not necessarily. Russia only has 320 land based ballistic missiles (over half were supposed to be retired by now but are still present). The US's THAADs, the AEGIS Ashore systems, the AEGIS on US ships based in Europe and Asia, and the ABM systems based in Alaska have more than enough missiles to take out those missiles. The rest of Russia's nukes would require the their boomers or their bombers to launch them. The US and NATO air forces would have a field day with those old Russian bombers and the US attack subs would sink the Russian boomers the second they got word of war breaking out.

You really just perfectly illustrated the reason I hate the phrase.

OMG they can't even capture Kiev. Why are you acting as if they are 1930's Germany romping through all of Europe like a hot knife through butter? Russia is far less of a threat to the USA than the Democrat party driving up gas to $7 per gallon, sabotaging our food supplies, mandating non proven vaccines for fricking BABIES, and the WHO / Klaus Schwab krewe doing what they are doing to end the autonomy of Western countries and create a "Great Reset".
And before the sheep mock me for bringing up the "Great Reset" - THEY HAVE A frickING WEBSITE! IT'S A REAL THING!
Yikes man.

More recently both the United States and Russia agreed to guarantee non aggression against Ukraine in exchange for them giving up their nuclear arsenal. Making the Russian invasion of Ukraine and attempts to annex it piece by piece an enormously important thing to stop because it would demonstrate every country in the world with potentially aggressive neighbors needs to develop and maintain a nuclear arsenal. Protecting Ukraine is not only living up to American (and Russian) promises it is also about reducing the number and likelihood of nuclear conflicts in the future.
No one should be sanguine about proxy wars with Russia but Putin has made clear his desire to claim formerly occupied countries as Russian to rebuild the Soviet empire. This isn't going away if we ignore it like Ukraine in 2014 or his other Eastern European adventures over the last decades.
You have to understand the reason why we have the "I hope Russia wins, frick Ukraine" people in this thread.
It's for one reason only: The current POTUS has a (D) next to his name.
Nothing more, nothing less. If Trump was conducting this same war, you wouldn't find anyone cheering harder for Ukraine than the shitposters in this thread.

Your inability to understand the difference between foreign and domestic policy is sad, but par for the course these days.
You're no different than progressives in that respect. Two sides of the same emotionally-driven coin.

So when I agree with you on domestic policy, that's also me not coming up with an independent thought in my life and being part of a hive mind?
Glad you admit you're part of the hive mind with no ability to think for yourself.

From now on, I will take note of the fact that you always choose the side of the majority in every thread
That's how your decision making appears to be calculated. Not on ideology, as you argue exactly like the marxists.
