For all the Biden voting clowns downvoting me:
If the left hadn’t impeached Trump over the phone call with Zelensky, Zelensky would have helped root out the Obama-Biden-State Department-CIA corruption.
Trump would still be president. No invasion of Ukraine. And Zelensky wouldn't be in fear of his life right now.

Regardless. Zelensky could have spoken out about how his country was a massive money laundry operation for the US ruling class. He didn't. So its hard to have sympathy for him. He sold out.

I’m not sure what point you are making on the trade routes. They can have Taiwan but if they restrict access to open water or invade Australia then there will be war if that’s why they want.

The US Government has so much invested in Ukraine over the past decade. It's their playground and their money laundering epicenter. And they will do anything to protect that.

More people live inside that circle than outside it. That trade route is still extremely, extremely important for a functioning world. And they’ve also built a massive dock right at the entrance of the Red Sea which leads to the world’s second busiest trade route to the Suez Canal. They’re planning on using war ships docked there to hold ships hostage. Remember this?
Now imagine that non stop going back and forth until the Chinese get their way in the world’s two busiest trade routes. This is important.

And how did Ukraine repay him? By staying silent during his impeachment. And Ukraine's silence was used against Trump as evidence that it was part of the "crime".

That is indeed their plan. Probably won’t come to fruition until maybe a decade and a half from now, but that is their long term strategy.
