Have you considered your carbon footprint scorecard if you bought this oil/gas guzzling air polluting vehicle? There are reliable mopeds out there for a fraction of the price.

You should also work on not being a douche bag.

Terrible gas mileage, laughably unusable third row, mediocre infotainment system. Get a Yukon or a Tahoe and don’t look back.

On the flip side at GMC and Chevy youll get laughable service and hopefully they have the part the year you bring in your vehicle.

so have you priced out SUVs? you also realize some people have multiple kids and can actually afford an suv of that price right?

its not stupid to buy an 80k vehicle. its stupid to buy an 80k vehicle if you cant afford it.

but honestly not a lot of choices out there that arent getting close to that in the large suv catagory. actualyl the sequoia is one of the cheaper options.

Some are afraid of turbos, but Toyota has been using them for decades. In fact, Toyota builds/makes their own turbos so they can own the quality control.

They have these panels that can be raised to the same level

Aside from the dealer markup, I put some weight on that panel and it gave too much for my liking. We decided to wait until the next model to see if they resolve the issue of the rear cargo area

There's no reason to be. Many of them have one moving part.

The Lexus GX460 is an awesome vehicle (Mrs. Tantal drives one), but there's a pretty appreciable size difference. It's an apples to oranges comparison. I would definitely spend the extra cash to upgrade from the 4Runner to the GX though.

While I trust Toyota to do turbos right more than any other manufacturer, they'll still never have the reliability and longevity of a NA motor. If I were in the market for a new truck, I'd find the lowest mileage 2021 Tundra TRDPro that I could get my hands on.

Incorrect. The Land Cruiser always had the inline-6 until 1998 when they switched to the 2UZ (4.7L V8).

Knew it’d as long as I could remember. I stand corrected.

It's the best vehicle that I've ever purchased.

Extremely overpriced for a rough riding SUV

I've ridden in exactly 1 Sequoia and I thought it rode like a dream.

We are holding out for a redesigned 4 Runner or the new Land Cruiser, but just because I don't want anything as big as the Sequoia.

It will supplant the GX as the best vehicle you've ever owned. Fun fact: The U.S. is the only market where the GX460 is a Lexus. Everywhere else it's the Land Cruiser Prado.

Sequoia. Good looking vehicle.

It is a great looking vehicle and top trim should be under $85,000. Dealers are really doing some scams out there. Toyota was cracking down on markups, so they started selling to employees at MSRP and then buying back and selling as used with markup. Toyota only tracks new sales.

We still may get one to replace 4Runner, but the 3rd row and storage is a legit issue. It fails there to every competitor, so you have to decide if the looks and handling are worth the space reduction.

It is fast, engine is sweet. Get the air suspension to help with ride.
