Those "forever stamps" are cruel. Prior to those, old people could at least set little goals of outliving their book of stamps.

Wrote in cursive today at work taking notes in a meeting. The only time I write print is when filling out forums. Been like that ever since I learned cursive

Teachers used to say they will make you write cursive in college so we had to learn it.

Went to college and they wanted everything typed. Go figure.

People get upset by this, and I was skeptical at first, but time marches on.

Kids used to have to learn Latin, read Cicero, learn to use a slide rule, take typing class, and do other stuff that has faded away. I’m sure the old guys got all upset when those were being phased out, but they’re pretty much gone.

Cursive will soon join the list.

I do all the time. Recently, I wrote a personal recommendation on nice, linen paper for a friend and sent it by mail in a linen envelope, too.

Not only did my friend receive the job offer (which he accepted), I received a hand written (in cursive) letter back from the person making the hire. Her words,

That made the effort so worthwhile to me.

I print pretty much everything now because it has to be legible on official documents.

I did realize the other day that when I write my daily goals each morning I write in cursive and it is nearly impossible to read.

ETA: Last time I wrote cursive was yesterday morning, I was too lazy to write them today.
