When is the last time you wrote in cursive besides a signature?

The OT brings up a lot of things around, why do they still exist. Well why are we still using a two written language method? Do other countries do this?

I don't have kids, but do they still teach this in school?

My only explanation is so we can read old documents like the declaration of independence, and things like that.

I still use it from time to time...as another poster said, my normal handwriting is kind of a hybrid of cursive and print. I will likely use some cursive when writing notes to attach to Christmas presents at work over the next week or so.

I can't even sign my name anymore. If I have to handwrite a note it's all in print

I haven’t written cursive in many years. I’m a teacher and I’m working to get rid of teaching it. It’s obsolete. A hundred years from now, it will be like hieroglyphics.

Can’t remember. It’s pointless and antiquated.

I guess the Library of Congress will be filled with archaeologist looking for the "Rosetta Stone" that will help them determine what all of the nation's historical document say.

What does a hybrid look like?

I love the frick off pic.

I honestly have trouble reading really nice cursive. My grandma had all these recipes written in cursive and handed down to me and I cant read them.. my wife has to read them for me. Lol
