Except, you know, that they didn't, because she's a district court judge, and they're still in the parish
The key verb in my post being “wanted”. I edited to get into JDC/ parish alignment but then realized I live far from there and truly don’t care

Eboni Johnson rose is the Kamala Harris of judges. Just totally unqualified and incompetent

Foxworth-Roberts must be crapping her pants with her upcoming October hearing. LASC didn’t even wait for judiciary commission to hold hearings re Eboni. They just said boom. That speaks a lot.

Can’t believe piper griffin is on the Supreme Court.

Janice was dumb and malicious. She would do real harm to (defense) attorneys and their clients especially from New Orleans(ish)

Dayum, Judge JB going in hot, deep and dry on Kamala, but that wouldn't be anything new to her.

she’ll probably win that appellate race. And the LASC can do nothing about that until she fricks up again
They suspended her during the investigation to be disbarred. Other judges I know in town say she's gonna work hard to prevent disbarment like stepping down, being suspended for a while, and going back to priv practice. No one can stop her from running, but she'll be DQ'ed from the race once they reach a consent settlement.

the election is in three months. The order states that the investigation be completed within six months. Are the other judges you are talking to saying she’ll be disbarred prior to the election?
or are they saying she’ll be disbarred after she’s elected to the appellate court? That certainly would be something

they're saying she knows there is a very strong chance of being disbarred if she doesn't work something out. LASC is moving to conclude this prior to November. They want to avoid her using the black community to influence the outcome b/c any outcome other than acquittal then would be viewed as racist attacks on a black elected official.

They just need to move forward with disbarment. No deal, unless the deal is she surrenders her license.

Further proof that our state constitution needs a complete overhaul.

Disqualified Baton Rouge Judge Eboni Johnson Rose will be able to stay on ballot
BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Supreme Court has temporarily disqualified the subject of numerous UWK investigations, Eboni Johnson Rose, from serving as a judge. The disqualified judge, however, can still run for appellate court judge, according to the Secretary of State’s Office.
That ruling came down on Aug. 6 from the Louisiana Supreme Court for Eboni Johnson Rose, a 19th JDC judge. The temporary suspension is effective immediately.
IT IS ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND DECREED that respondent, Judge Eboni Johnson
Rose, 19th Judicial District Court, State of Louisiana, be and hereby is immediately disqualified
from exercising any judicial function during the pendency of further proceedings in this matter
based on a finding of probable cause that respondent committed a violation of the Code of Judicial
Conduct and poses a substantial threat of serious harm to the public and the administration of
justice. ~La. Supreme Court Ruling
Johnson Rose remains on the ballot for a spot on the First Circuit Court of Appeal. Because she previously qualified for office by the deadline of July 19, she can remain on the ballot, Joel Watson, Jr., Deputy Secretary of State for Communications, said.
“Candidates who qualify for office will remain on the ballot unless they are disqualified from office through the filing of an objection to candidacy,” Watson told UWK.
An objection can be filed by a proper party or by the parish District Attorney but must be done within seven days after the close of qualifying, he added.
He did not say whether Johnson Rose would be allowed to serve if she wins the election against her opponent Judge Kelly Balfour.
