They about get paid by the city. Better pretend like they care now

Family members said their grief has been compounded by what they called a disrespectful, botched clean-up.
“They left big chunks of her all over the place, just covered up with the grass,” the victim’s sister Rosalinda told Fox 40.
Should have used a mulch kit

Good point

Yep. There’s a chance she was already dead, then the tractor hit her.
This. Now they can sue the city, landscaping company, and the tractor manufacturer.

Nope. Apparently Gallo Wine took possession of the land the day before. fricked.

Alternate theory: lawn guy saw her and just wanted to scratch that itch

Probably asleep after a meth binge. They can be out cold for days

Why wasn’t she sleeping where her father, sister, or daughter was? Why are they so concerned now and not while she was sleeping in a field?
Obviously she had made some choices in life that had consequences. A tragedy. My gf daughter is 23 and has put herself in that type of situation, we are raising her two little girls. When people don't want help and continue in a self destructive path, families have to set boundaries.
I feel for her family and daughter.

John Deere tractor with a pull-behind mower
If that was a BushHog for grass, probably not much in terms of big parts to pick up. Not sure how a driver missed the vibrations or grinding up bone and such.

He may have botched a potential murder investigation

You snooze, you lose…and get chopped up by lawn crews

You know a cute girl like that was absolutely blown out downstairs after everything she had to do for her drugs.

It’s very possible, but…

Other homeless people said they saw Chavez wash her hair in the park’s creek before going to sleep on a hill near the playground and baseball field.
Twenty minutes later, the mower came through.

Because she was a drug addict?
Be thankful you have never had to make the decision of giving a loved one a place to live vs. sleeping on the street.

This one needs to be moved to the Final Destination/weird ways to die thread.

He was probably a better parent, didn't have to worry about addicted children..

If this family of hers is so concerned, where were they when she was seeping in the grass in a park?

Still pretty deep pockets to go after. I’m sure they will take a crack at it.
