Landrieu vs. Lee. Who is a better man?

Seriously. Is Landrieu somehow a better man than Robert E. Lee?
After graduating from Jesuit High School in 1978, Landrieu enrolled at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where he majored in political science.
Lee..The son of Revolutionary War officer Henry "Light Horse Harry" Lee III, Lee was a top graduate of the United States Military Academy and an exceptional officer and military engineer in the United States Army for 32 years. During this time, he served throughout the United States.
Landrieu was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives in 1987, where he served for sixteen years in the seat previously held by his sister and before her, his father.
Lee..When Virginia declared its secession from the Union in April 1861, Lee chose to follow his home state, despite his personal desire for the country to remain intact and an offer of a senior Union command.
Bottom line is that Robert E. Lee was 10 times the man Landrieu is, and he knows it.
All I ask is that Mitch explain to us dumbasses why Lee is not a national treasure such as MLK was for some. That's all.
IF MITCH would do that, then he would at least have my respect. Until then, Lee circle will be fought for.

They both own slaves on a plantation. Lee paid for his slaves with money while Landrieu paid for his slaves by pandering

Landrieu is a sellout no matter who you compare him to. Continuously pandering to blacks.

If you don't think slavery was the MAJOR cause of the war then you are lost.
Yes, there were other causes for states rights and blah blah, most all of those were tied to slavery.
Saying Lee didn't believe in it, fine. Saying he didn't fight for it, well that is factually incorrect.

Tell me why some of the last states to officially abolish slavery were in the north? Maybe I'm just a dumbass southern boy and can't figure that out my own damn self.
