I’m sure the landlords kids like to eat too. Not paying rent is the same as stealing the food from his table.

If she had fricked her landlord the door might have stayed up

I’d donate to fix those teeth

How is removing the door considered an eviction by the attorney?
There's no way that's going to fly legally. I think "constructive eviction" is the argument you'd make, and it's a good one.

Pull 'em all and get her some nice dentures. That's the way to go here.

I guess that job with Solo ads in early November didn't pan out. She does too many of those quizzes. Def someone I wouldn't follow.

but a local attorney says that violates a state statute.
Easiest case that attorney will have for years. Idiot landlord.

I have several rentals and I just had the first one past due. I went to speak to them about it because apparently their IPhone 12 was acting up and they hadn’t received my messages.
So they were past due and didn’t try to get in touch with to you? On top of that the iPhone 12 had an issue? If i know I’m late on my obligations, I would try to get in touch any way I can because it shows consideration. I definitely wouldn’t sit around knowing my method of communication is broken.
I’m a lowly landlord here(iphone6), and my tenants always get in touch with me if they have issues paying because that’s the responsible thing to do. I have a guy(3 year tenant) who pays 10-21 days late every month. But he always tells me about being late and when he’ll pay. And I never charge late fees on him because I see he’s honest and trying to make it. I told him the other day that had I collected late fees from him all the these years, I’d be a millionaire by now.

Something tells me this is not her first slipup and he is likely dealing with a professional tenant.
