She’s on with Peyton and Eli right now, and I just cannot stomach the way she talks. I think she is a redneck who figured out her niche and plays it to the hilt. I grew up in north Louisiana and had oodles of redneck relatives and none of them sounded as stupid as her.

I'm with you 100%. My family is from Franklin Parish, and they don't sound like that.

I don’t know if she’s amping it up or not, but my parents are from NELA and have pretty thick accents. I have an uncle that never left and lives close to Tallulah. His accent is super thick and makes her sound like big city.

There are probably a lot of 50+ year olds who never left their small north Louisiana who speak like her
I don’t think there are many ~30 year olds who moved to Nashville when they were 20 (just guessing) who genuinely speak like that

Shockingly and randomly enough. I do know a woman that talks like that. However she's not from Franklin parish she's from around Franklington out in the country of Tangipahoa
