She’s played at the Smokin Tuna in Key West about a dozen times. She’ll be there again in January.

Her accent isn’t even that bad.
I’m from north LA and I know a ton of people that talk just like that or worse.

I was gonna say the same. I’m from south if I-10 so most of my accents are bayou but I live in Mandeville now and am friends with several people from Franklin parish and they are as country as it comes. Accents and all.

I grew up not far from Baskin, that NELA redneck accent can run thick and deep (mine comes out if I have a bit too much to drink

It seems like I read that she went to Middle Tennessee State. I might be misremembering though, because a lot of Nashville folks go there.
