No, from what I understand, the courts were open. The cops showed up at city club, too from what I was told.

What time? I was there about an hour ago.
ETA: how is playing tennis different from walking/running/riding a bike with someone else. There were also tons of people doing that around, too.

I just ran down Trotter St in New Iberia and flipped off three guys in a truck for driving too close to me

All of this over reaction is totally ridiculous. If this is true Guillory should be thrown out on his arse when this is over.

From what I heard, they rolled up to CIty club at around 11. CC doesn’t have gates or anything, so I guess if it isn’t guarded all the time, people can just sneak on.
Yeah, I don’t see the difference between people jogging, walking and playing tennis

Pretty sure I was there after that (or around that time) and people were still playing, and I didn’t see any police officers

Yeah, Josh Guillory can frick right off with this shite. I understand if people are non members then they shouldn't be on the property, but if they were CC members it's total bullshite and everyone should remember this about the prick.

Just talked to a friend of mine.

Yea, this sounds like all the other “my friend just told me” stories that get posted here. This thread is the equivalent of a SAHM Facebook post.

Just drove by city club and the courts have locks on them with a sign saying, Due to city ordinance, tennis courts are closed until further notice.
I guess all the people saying it wasn’t true, are full of shite.

From jail?
Welp, I'm in jail.
Just got home from 6+ miles including downtown, ULL, girard, bendel, etc. A cop passed me on campus and didn't say shite. There were still bums in park sans suci sharing cigarettes and a few people outside of the restaurants downtown. Lots of people out jogging, slacklining, etc at Girard Park.

Hi Carlee!

I’m pretty sure he didn’t call the police and you’re stupid to think so....Oakbourne just laying down the rules with its massive harambe dong
Paid for by Elect Josh Guillory

And you’d be extra stupid to think that. So, red’s, city club and oakbourne all decided to have the cops come out at the same time and close them, putting their pros out of business, losing all lesson fees?
Brilliant!

This must have occurred after 11am, because there were definitely people there at that time.

We are still doing daily drills. No more than 6 people per court, use baskets to pick up balls (don’t touch), don’t congregate around bench. Outdoor exercise is healthy as long as you maintain distance. Smaller drills means more time to work on slider serves and fast paced slices.

But the prick mayor has a press conference a few times a day w/ more than six other figureheads all gathered under the same tent. Rules for thee, not for me.
