I can't wait for the first idiot to get killed trying to cross 6 lanes coming out of Target by McCalister's so that they can get into the COSTCO lot. As of right now, there is no light connecting the Target lot to the COSTCO one, and there are no concrete strips preventing people from shooting across. It was bad enough when tools tried to take a left out of there onto Kaliste Saloom...now they've added a new challenge!

Gonna be a massacre right there as people come up Kaliste Saloom towards Camellia and smash into assholes squeezing through stopped cars waiting on the light at Ambassador.

But hey...more out of state retail to piss off the Buy Local crowd...

It kinda sucked this year because of the rain. Last year the kids had a blast. We went canoeing and raced remote control cars at big boys toys.

I don't even know which membership to buy.

go do a dry run, look around, see what they got

determine if you're gonna be a regular or not.

if so, get the exec, you get cash back on puchases, usually enuf to pay for the membership

but if you start with just the regular gold star, the goldstar purchases won't count towards the rebate of the exec, should you later upgrade.

they have a pretty good system there, a guy with a handheld, just scanned me while waiting and told me had I gotten the exec, I would have already paid for the membership...

Gonna avoid that area like the plague for the first few months. I'm interested in World of Beers but I may never set foot in Costco. Amazon Prime is just so easy and convenient.

I can't imagine how bad traffic is going to be in that area now. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I live right behind City Club and the traffic really isn't that bad that I've noticed.

Its obviously not perfect but it hasn't proven to be an inconvenience to my day to day travel....

Im ready to check out BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

and WOB of course

I live in Youngsville. Going north on Ambassador has become even more entertaining than it already was, and it already sucked arse.

That being said, they did add turning lanes into the complex, and they did add a turning lane (FINALLY) at the corner of Amb and Kal Sal in front of the Walgreens, so that may actually help getting things moving beyond that intersection better than now even with increased traffic. We'll see...

Verot is being widened only as far as Heleaux Grocery (Vincent road). The plan at some point is to put a roundabout there because the new South City Expressway is going to connect there.

Nope. Was supposed to start early this year. They ran into some kind of hitch and now they're talking summer. That's the only thing I hate. I'm not getting an Amex just to shop there.
