His profile has raised significantly since then. Where else will the boy wonder go? The Senate? No. State Rep or State Senate seems boring and not enough power. Also can’t make a living doing just that.

Everyone complaining about Higgins should think about who's responsible for his political career.
After everything he did to stab conservatives in the back and elect a liberal Governor in JBE and had the stink of Bobby Jindal all over him, Angelle was just simply not going to beat Higgins as the people of Acadiana had enough and chose a moron like Higgins over Snake in the Grass Scott.

From what I've seen Higgins has become best buds and really tight with Steve Scalise so that's going to be an issue for Guillory if he wants to try for Higgins seat again.
Scalise is really good at fundraising so if he wants to help Higgins, that's going to be really tough to overcome for Guillory.
