I guess you’re too young to remember Hurricane Katrina.

What does Katrina have to do with that statement? You’re making no sense.

You still haven’t made a point other than invoking Katrina

New Orleans is going to be economically devastated. While Mardi Gras may have exacerbated the situation, at least they got that money in the coffers before the country went into lockdown. If all events are cancelled for a year, which it appears they are, I don't see how they recover from that.

I agree. Nola will be dead as far as cruises and conventions, but people acting like it’s a death wish are just ignorant
New Orleans is used to being a dead ghost town from the beginning of Summer until Labor Day.
The high time starts in September. We will be back by then. Sure we’ll miss a few festivals and conventions, but God Damn, it won’t be anything like the years we struggled after Katrina

Who’s leaving?

People leaving and not coming back after Katrina was why New Orleans was better off after than before. People leaving would be good

No, JBE did and I have complied, especially since I am considered to be “at risk” due to the fact I have chronic bronchitis.
As I said, I don’t have a problem with it but this could easily backfire on Ol’ Josh.
Only if some stupid shite “at risk” tard like yourself chooses to go out and about. This is the biggest problem with sky screaming busy bodies like yourself. You think everyone has to stay home cause YOU are at risk. Bull shite. YOU are at risk. The rest of us aren’t. Take care of yourself and let the rest of us take care of ourselves.

Yeah you’re preaching to the choir, but whos leaving now and why would Houston need to worry about buses?

Wait was it 2 million or 1 million? No it was 200,00. No wait it was 80,000. No it was 60,000.
Yeah that’s it, 60,000.

Dance camps
Cheer camps
Lots of conventions
And with that mayor it’ll be messed up for years.

Post Katrina worked out because New Orleans was able to ship off a large percentage of their bottom feeders and the federal government pumped in billions into the economic. One of those isn’t happening this round and maybe both
