Nola, Br, Lafayette... I don't understand the hate for any of these places. They all have great features and things to do and great people if you go to the right places. If you go to the wrong places or meet the wrong people you won't be nearly as impressed.
I will say the really great thing about Lafayette is unlike BR and Nola the good areas are pretty compact. You don't have pockets of cleanliness and class interspersed with parts of town that look like part of a Fallout game.

I don't hate lafayett- hell I work there. But to say its clean, no traffic, and has a country club feel is wrong.
Unless he worked at LaTriomph (sp) and lived in the parking lot.
