Lady next to me at the vet doesn’t want her puppy to get vaccinated because of autism lol

I’m at the vet getting my dog updated on everything and a lady walks in with her puppy. I hear her tell the lady at the front desk that she doesn’t want her puppy to get vaccinated because she is scared that her puppy will get autism. Using my inside voice, I was laughing my arse off. Are people really this dumb?

She is probably in her late 20s early 30s and no....... no she is not.

My dog collapsed almost exactly a year ago this week. She has IMHA (an autoimmune disease) that put her in the ICU for 7 days and on medications for 9 months. They suspect it came from a vaccine she received (studies have linked it to this in many cases, and she’s always has a reaction from vaccines)... so now I’m a damn dog anti-vaxxer

I wouldn’t have been able to control my laughter if I heard that. I’m using the voice to text technology on the iPhone to write this right now, and I’ve had to stop a couple of times because I’ve laughed too hard just reading this story

People are lunatics. Will never forget the time my car was being serviced at the dealer and I overheard a 60ish woman talking on the phone about her recent vaginaplasty and how young it looks. Her husband leaned in and told her to pipe down, then looked at me and rolled his eyes and shook his head. I had to go outside and LOL.

No kennel will take her dog without vaccinations. Hope she doesn't plan on a vacation anytime soon.
