Awesome. People outside the south have no clue what is going on. I am dealing with this right now with a client from New Jersey. He is complaining that my guy in Houston isn't doing work. I point blank asked him if he realized that a once in a lifetime flood is happening in Houston. He said he had no clue.

“But y’all sit here, y’all trying to interview people during their worst times –l ike that’s not the smartest thing to do. Like people are really breaking down and y’all sitting here with cameras and microphones trying to ask us what the frick is wrong with us,” she continued.

Good. frick those idiots. Weather Channel and fox did it too. "How does it feel to lose everything and almost die?"
Motherfricker how do you think it feels?

Well don't speak with them . The Reporter is just trying to doing her job.

I was getting a bit pissed that ABC13 was literally trying to interview people as they were getting off the boats.
As if having to be pulled from your home in flood water wasn't enough bullshite to deal with.

Good. I hope that reporter hears that as she tries to fall asleep each and every night.

Ah the liberal news media. No common sense at all. They really should just go back to hating on Trump.

It's an important story to tell, what I don't like is them making a big deal about trying to get help to the people they're talking with on the phone. I'm glad that they help, but there's no need to repeatedly mention it. Let the producer handle that stuff off air.

Yup....that Asian reporter is the worst.

I remember being interviewed by a French newspaper. I actually thought it was pretty cool

The government, police, rescue personnel etc.. can only do so much, everybody is stretched thin. At some point it is up to the individuals to do for themselves but that is what a lot of these people are accustomed to....waiting for a handout.

It can't work both ways. They report and bring attention to it and people can begin helping. They stay away and then those who flooded bitch because no one knew about it and they didn't make the news.

I don't like how they will give context beforehand which is usually embarrassing.
"I'm here with Jamion Williams, who lived in the projects and whose mother sold herself to make ends meet. Jamion, tell us how you were rescued."
I'd be like dam bish why you gotta air mah shite out like that

That dude on the weather channel "rescuing" the flag was one of the phoniest things I've seen in a while

TWC field reports are a clown show.

"Waiting for" is what gets me about these entitled gubberment dependants.

People are waking up to the media.

it's the most cringe-worthy unwatchable shite when weather reporters interview displaced people during an event. they ask the same stupid questions, and all i can think about is how pissed most people would be having a microphone put in front of their face on one of their worst days, and being asked how they are doing by some energetic a-hole.

Yes. Where's CNN ? Where's the media? " 'Y'all' don't care about us".
If you're too distraught to speak just say 'no thank you' & wave them away instead of being rude & vile .
