To the OT yes. but that's on the money for decent middle class.

I get about $500 back from each, Fed and State. State gonna go down next year for sure.

I get one every year. I need to adjust my W4. Just been too lazy. I usually get back between $1000 and $1500. Not poor, definetely OT poor. Although I do like getting a check back. But if I get an IOU this year I'm going change my W4 asap to 18 dependents. Lol

This may be true, I don't venture far into Texas much and the roads seem to be shittier in Texas once you cross over from LA. But that's just one small portion of a huge state.

Yea you haven't traveled far enough into Texas then. Texas roads are for the most part better than LA roads. However, some of that is because Texas has better soils than LA.
