fricking red tape bullshite. How can we expect the police to do their jobs if we're gonna get them in trouble for every burglary they commit?

Back the badge.

I'm guessing because the dude was charged with burglary and the tax payers still paying him while he doesn't work....

Watch your tone, boy. That "perv" is a goddamn hero putting his life on the line every goddamn day. Show some respect, punk.

This is nothing new though. Until the criminal and admin investigation is complete, you can't stop paying someone.

Because of the nature of the job they have to be removed from the workforce. If you were accused of a crime you would most likely remain at your job pending the investigation as long as the investigation didn't involve your place of work. This is no different, well unless you work in an at-will state.

He was still there when APD showed up. There is way more to this story than what was written. An experienced LEO isn't going to rob a home and wait around for the cops to get there. I agree with the guy who said it's an ex wife situation.

He is married, no ex-wife situation. I know him personally and there definitely has to be more to this story.

Aggravated burglary is a very serious charge. Why would he throw his career away like that. There's got to be something else. It doesn't make sense.

Well if not ex wife situation, then probably side piece situation. This has Jerry springer/Maury Povich written all over it.

A lot of assuming going on, why don't we wait on facts? I know it's hard in this day and age.
