Does anyone know why ice cream typically doesn't have tamper resistant/evident packaging?

I have long considered Blue Bell to be nothing but a tub of Ebola. Somehow, these animals have actually found a way to make it worse. Impressive work.

Probably stems from a time when people weren’t so malicious and trashy so as to lick ice cream in the store and put it back on the shelf for other people to purchase. YES, there was a time when we didn’t do shite like this.
