The only problem that I can see is that most agricultural stuff starts at like 4:30-5am. They would just need to make some changes so it wouldn't be dark so long

Or the farmers and agricultural industry could adjust to the naturally fluctuating/season daylight times as they did for thousands and thousands of years before we threw DST into the mix

Worth noting that there is no fiscal note so it won't cost anything to do this study.

Don't remove Daylight Saving Time, make it permanent.

They tried that one year, problem was kids were going to school when it was still dark during winter months...

But frick why do we need a tax payer funded task force for this?

Do y'all NOT see any issue with having an hour difference between Louisiana and Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi?

Everything in transportation companies in neighboring states whether carrying hot-shot equipment to plants or Papa Johns commissary truck from Dallas to Louisiana will be affected.

Communications between companies with clients in neighboring states will be affected.

Do you realize how many people live in one state and work in a neighboring state? I commuted from MS to a plant in La for 3 yrs. This will be a legit concern as well.

Television/Radio/Internet broadcasts from Minneapolis, Chicago, STL, Memphis, down to Nola(all CST) will be affected in both directions.

Y'all really don't think shite thru and can be rather retarded sometimes.

If you can't figure that out on your own, you deserve to get fired.

It would be better if this was a nationwide thing, but so it goes.

No you stupid frick but you need to gauge the impact and prepare for it.

Stick to Pugh laws and let tech/transportation/manufacturing professionals do their thing.

Funny I didn't even see this article and the broadcast issue was brought up. Going this route has actual quantifiable repercussions.

I would rather us stay at DST all year round than stay at standard time, tbh.

All I was fricking saying, you cocksuck, is that it warrants studying and preparing for it.

I am in favor of the move(or lack thereof). DST has really sucked more now that people post stupid memes about it, particularly the one about Cher Turning back Time when it's Spring fricking Forward.

Harvsting sugar cane.....those Canadian or Mexican crews work in the middle of the night... That's not really an issue any more like it used to be. They have bright arse lights hooked up on tractors now.
