I don’t know how anyone can’t be disgusted by Binger. Lionel Hutz is a better attorney than him.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the prosecution usually close last? Maybe Law and Order just isn't realistic.

Agreed. Binger comes across as an arrogant prick, and he clearly is a liar. He was so over the top with his lying. He would have done much better to tone it down with facts in his favor, instead of making up shite.

Looking at it objectively, I think Binger did a lot better. He laid his argument out clearly and coherently. This guy is just meandering around.
I have no idea how much it will affect the jurors but this guy sounds like you gave some random Packers fan a crash course in the law and the facts of this case and let him loose.

Prosecution gets to rebut the defense closing last. They've agreed, state gets 30 minutes after this to rebut.

What dimension did you just happen to fall out of where up is down and left is right?

It's not about what side I think is correct, it's about the delivery of the arguments. The bald guy is a freakin superstar, I have no idea why the defense didn't unleash him on the closing argument.

It is not over yet, but I agree that prosecution presentation has been much more precise with better presentation.

Purely from a jury trial chops/skills perspective, Binger's closing was better. This isn't a very compelling close, especially for a case of this magnitude.
But there is a reasonable chance that Binger's performance is somewhat irrelevant because the jury already hates him or doesn't trust him (which is also a trial skills issue, of course).

Yeah, not gonna lie I was hoping he'd give closing...I thought that decision was a no-brainer.

Apparently Richards sounds like a local, which would really help.

He's not the most organized guy on the planet, but I think part of that is for show too. An intern needs to show him page breaks though, Jesus.

Yeah, I don’t see how he’s even in the same stratosphere with Binger. Binger’s closing was the worst I’ve ever seen.

The tempo and organization of this is bad. I do think he's approachable/relatable, which is ideal, but you don't want the jury to struggle to follow your argument.

He aimed a gun at them. That alone would piss me off to be determined to make sure he loses. I can’t imagine the jury having anything but the most animosity towards the prosecution.

I'm not a lawyer, but I'd be pretty mad if someone pointed a gun at me. I'm biased, but Binger just comes off as a prick.

Did he actually point the gun at the jury??
