A black owned company making Teriyaki rice is cultural appropriation of the Japanese and is racist.
Their product should be pulled from all Kroger's.
Their product should be pulled from all Kroger's.

Yet they can’t seem to just list those products American or Locally owned/sourced?
Only a true racist MFer would choose to focus on the skin color of the owner of the product than the quality of the product, where it’s made, or anything else actually germane to the product itself.

What, you looking for the "white owned" label?

That shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out. Process of elimination, and actual white supremacists thank you Kroger, I’m sure.

Good. My goal is for every decision I make to purchase a product to be based on the color of the product maker's skin, not on the quality of the product, just like MLK intended.

Exactly. The only valid place that I can think of where knowing what race someone is would be on an ID/Driver's license.
When filling out forms for anything, race should not be a part of it. There is zero reason to track what percentage of what race is doing anything. It is not even useful in crime statistics. What's more useful in that regard is just knowing crime statistics by city/area of a city.

Wife and I shop exclusively at Kroger. I really, really hope this isn’t real.

America has never been less racist than it is today so let's double down and make everything about race. Some people are fricking weirdos
Not weirdos. Just people with distorted self-interest.
The media THRIVES on creating discourse and discontent. Go out in public on any given day and you'll find people of all races getting along, working together and/or at minimum, showing each other basic respect. Is there prejudice that still exist? Of course. Their ALWAYS will be. But the world the news stations want you to believe exists is FAR different than reality.
Progressives have to ALWAYS be progressing. Even if that means overexaggering or simply just creating issues to "crusade" against. Wrongs to right. "Victims" to fight for. Race relations today compared to the 1950's-60's are COMPLELY different. That's not really a good thing if you are a progressive. You NEED a victim to fight for. Some kind of moral endeavor to undertake. When that doesn't exist organically you have to resort to creating a crusade. That is what is going on now. They are trying to convince everyone that 2021 America akin to 1964 America when that simply isn't the case well known to anyone with a hint of logical thinking ability and some foundational knowledge of American history.
Unfortunately, their efforts are effective because they ARE creating a more racist/prejudicial society than would otherwise exist. ALL for the sake of satisfying their own self interest of moral superiority.

I sorta like this.
Now I’ll never buy anything ‘black owned’ by mistake.

Exactly this. I hope all stores start doing this so I'll know which products to avoid. It's a shame it has to be that way but with the left wing constantly rubbing people's noses into their racial bullshite it's just the way its going to have to be.

This is the correct answer. You are witnessing an epic failure for them. Let’s see how long it takes them before they do away with that stupid idea

Why are you deliberately avoiding black-owned?
It's one thing if the business opts into this, but they probably have no control over it.
