The Krispy Kreme in Metairie has been open for drive thru. You could drive past there at 8 a.m., 5 p.m., or pick any other am or pm and the line would wrap all the way onto Clearview. All day every day. Fat fricks.

It’s like Tony’s seafood, Texas club etc. it’s been there so long it doesn’t matter how many killings are done around there. It’s location is too well known and will thrive again.

doesn't change the insatiable appetite for fricking donuts that causes traffic jams.

Does one risk their life by going there? Yes.
Is it worth it for hot Krispy Kreme donuts? Yes.

Told the wife I didn't give a shite if there were coronavirus sprinkles on the damned things, I'll be busting some up after they reopen.

Cane's on Highland near LSU and the Popeye's near my house are just as bad for drive up traffic jams.

I still go to Tony's occasionally but there are usually so many cops in the parking lot that I don't worry too much about it.

A bullet to the head during a mugging for a fricking donut? Hmm, I'll pass.

Used to get mad blunted and drive up there at like 2 am in college. One time we took a couple broads and they weren’t too happy about it

The only danger is being approached by someone selling a mix tape.

I tried driving my kids down Wyandotte st after Tony's to show them where I grew up in the 70s and they freaked out.

I brought my daughter to Tony's about a year ago and we drove from Government up S 22nd to Plank. She looked at me and said "dad, where are we? This doesn't look very safe"
