Here's how I see this playing out. The kid's mom is doxxed by by some far away print media. The mom and kid then go on the defensive and hunt down the Bama fan. After a the mom and kid appear on The View, the stupid hags on that show try to say it's not the kids fault he is so angry, the Bama fan should be prosecuted, and we need better gun control because if there are more people like Bama fan, then angry kids like this shite stain are gonna be forced to shoot up schools.

Serious question- can that man be charged with assault of a minor? I know the kid started it and certainly asked for it, but I’m not sure I would’ve touched him.

It's interesting. I mean, if all the kid did was yell and insult that would be one thing, but as soon as he starts throwing punches I think it's okay to defend yourself. Again, he tossed the kid to the ground and then walked away (after giving the kid ample time to back down). Not like he tossed the kid on the ground and then just pounded away at him.
Again, I know it's just a kid, but at what point is it okay to start defending yourself? Can you only defend yourself if say the kid had a knife? What if the kid was taller or shorter?
The kid was clearly old enough to know what he was doing.

While probably a criminal offense, I can't imagine ANY prosecutor going forward with the case even if Bama fan was charged. Prosecutorial discretion comes into play, and Bama fan is told, "Good job" by society.
Sadly, that little punk is headed toward a sad future unless a serious intervention is made.

He learned nothing from that interaction. And he will probably be enabled by momma trying to file charges or the coddling that will occur by the vid going viral.
The only way that kid walks away saying “I will never do that shite again” is a sneaky right hook to the jaw.

You need to see the whole video. He caught the kid vandalizing cars. The kid began cursing and taunting him. He continually tried walking away but the kid began trying to hit him.
He has every right to defend himself. He stopped the escalation, then left.
