he had a lot of soul and funk.... when he was a black dude, although when he went white he still found a way to reach out and touch America's youth

Yep. I learned about it on my return flight when a group of black women started shrieking in the front of the plane after we landed.

They musta been Jared Mitchell fans to be so excited as to shriek.

I am a huge fan of MJ. He was a genius. When it comes to the whole kiddie thing, I honestly believe people took advantage of his generosity, but then I really don't know.

But when it comes to his music, there will never be anyone else like him. He was a perfectionist. And if there is ever a "coolest song ever made" award.. It would be "Rock With You". That's a song that's just cool. You feel cool just listening to it. You can dance to it or you can just bob your head to it..

But even the Jackson 5. Without MJ, there would have never had a Jackson 5. No one else could have added the element he did even as a young kid.

Can't think of MJ anymore without this classic Streisand quote:

can you imagine a similar quote coming from a hardline conservative public figure?

there was a guy running for gubna of Texas back in the 80s that was asked about some proposed changes to penalties for sexual assault, don't remember the specific question but his reply was "rape is like the weather, ain't a damn thing you can do about it so the gal may as well lay there and enjoy it" he didn't win the election

What is the difference between Michael Jackson and a grocery bag? One is white, plastic and dangerous for children. You put groceries in the other.

What's the difference between Michael Jackson and Neil Armstrong.

Neil Armstrong "walked on the moon," whereas Michael Jackson "was a child molester."

His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has,” she said of Jackson. “You can say ‘molested,' but those children, as you heard say, they were thrilled to be there,” she said of Robson and Safechuck. “They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.”

This made me think of all the stars of that era who died young with their legends intact before they had a chance to reveal what loons they were.

Speaking of both Streisand and Jackson.
