One of the coolest and scariest things in the world of humans.

It’s because of the lib freaks destroying Tesla’s.
They were saving the planet.

Is this a serious deal or just cool?

Unlikely to be serious. Its a very active volcano that does this or something similar frequently

I visited Hawaii in the 3rd grade. Ki'lauea was running lava when I was there. The road we were on, we could have just walked up and touched the lava. Pretty cool and scary at the same time to see nature do its thing.

We were just there little over a week ago. It stopped the day arrived on island and started again after we left. Still very cool to see

Mt Spurr blew it's top this morning. Got a little ash down here in Juneau.

Went there in September. Raining all day and was miserable. How’s the weather today?

Sunny, dry and 50.
Sept and Oct are the rainiest months, by far. Rare to see the mountaintops

My son and I are going to rent one of the public use cabins, and put together a week long trip. I’d rather catch salmon vs cutthroat high lake trout, but we want to hike some elevation as well. Have to do some digging to do to find the best cabin for our trip

There are a few on Admiralty Island if you want to risk the bears.
Windfall Lake or Turner Lake are good near JNU
