Kids and sweatshirts

I drive by a school at 3:00, the air temp is 90° or greater and half the kids walking around are in sweatshirts or hoodies

My kid does it too. It's weird. Middle of August and she'll put a sweatshirt on to go to the store.

both of my daughters where their sweat shirt/sweaters to high school. both complain it's cold in the classrooms....

Its a style thing. Tons of kids do this now and not just for school. Urban kids, girls that want to wrap it around their waist... its just a look now that I dont understand at all.

Both my kids wear hoodie sweatshirts everywhere they go...it doesnt matter how hot it is outside.
