I had a friend of mine in high school deal with those often for about 2-3 years. Thought it was crazy for someone young to have that but I felt bad. Don't wish that on anyone.

Cranberry juice is for urinary tract infections. It is high in oxilates which can cause kidney stones.

Lemonade made from real lemons is what is best for flushing kidneys to help keep you from getting kidney stones

I’m a three timer. There’s little to recommend them. Wife will always say “try delivering a 10 lb baby” and some friend will say their gallstones were worse. All you have left are the memories.

I past a 4mm stone in my early 20’s, and they say that once you get them you are more susceptible to having more. 7 years later of trying to be ultra hydrated and holding strong

I've had women tell me that they have had kidney stones and have had babies....and they say they are about the same.

I have been dealing with them on and off for the last 15 years.

1st one I had I thought was having an appendicitis attack. The pain was intense.

Prostate swelled up and I couldn't pee so I had to get a 'good ole' catheter inserted into my wanker. Now that was fun.

Doc told me to drink lots of water with real lemon juice, which helps stop the formation of stones and keeps your kidneys flushed out.

Had to give up sodas and anything carbonated, its the phosphoric acid in them.

Also had to give up taking vitamins(especially Vitamin C) and minerals and those shakes(Slim Fast...) that are loaded with vitamins and minerals.

Our bodies use only what it needs and the rest is passed through our kidneys.
The stones build up and then they pass through.

Doc also told me to cut bake on salt and sugar intake.

IDK which is worse, a kidney stone or an ear ache. Both are intense.

Passing stones and babies is very similar. It is not the actual stone tearing through your urethra, but rather the muscle spasms resulting from your body trying to push the stone(baby), that results in the pain. I was given muscle relaxers before pain meds if I remember correctly, or some combination of both.
I was in the sleeper of a truck 3 states away when my attack happened. It felt like a shovel was thrust in my side and being twisted around. It was considerably worse than my gall stone, but similar symptoms.

Fact........ they are the worst. I go through pain everyday, but I can deal with it, but when I had stones, I was a mess...... the pain is just unreal and there is not many meds that can stop that pain......

I used to get kidney stones so bad and so often. I had a 10mm stone that for infected and needed a walking stent back in 2012.

My doctor told me to start drinking red wine and I haven’t had one since.

The bad part is that the ER doc also told me I have a 4mm stone still in my kidney, and due to its position it is likely to dislodge also. I would rather have not known and have it hit me by surprise than have to think about it every day of my life.

boil asparagus in original coca cola. simmer 20 minutes. add more coke if needed to cover the asparagus.

5 or 6 days should do it.
a new can every day.
two servings a day.
morning and noon.
fwiw asparagus quality varies by price. go big.
cheap asparagus will make you stop.

Quit drinking so much soda ya bum.

That’s only part of it George.

Nuts, keto/Atkins-like dieting, leafy “green” veggies, and yes sodas are not your friends. Once you get them, the body is susceptible to getting them again. Change your diet or prepare thy ani!

Fortunately I have not had kidney stones but I have had gall stones and if kidney stones are worse then those are bad SOBs.

I had my gall bladder taken out probably 15 years ago. Still occasionally I have to suddenly take a dump. Keep your gall bladder if you can!!!

Ive actually done/had all three of these. I had a 10 lb 6 oz baby with epidural at 7 cm, had emergency surgery for my gallbladder, and passed a kidney stone last year I would say they are all comparable in terms of the pain I felt. With the kidney stone, they gave me morphine. No help. Then they gave me more morphine. Still no relief. Finally they gave me Toradol. That worked! I wish they would have just given me that first

I had my gall bladder actually die on me, horrific pain; had total knee replacement, awful for a few days; and since 1979 I have documented (recovered) 51 kidney stones. And, oh yeah, I had a heart attack 17 years ago and was wounded twice by shrapnel in Vietnam.

1. Kidney stones but infected ear and tooth abscess are very close but can be dealt with almost immediately. But stone pain so hard to alleviate. Disabling.
2. Gall bladder dying and full open surgery removal was right up there.
3. TKR post-op.
4. Heart attack, hurt a bit but definitely the scariest.
5. Shrapnel wounds, burned but healed rather quick.

I’m starting to be a pain expert. Dear Lord please spare me from cancer.
