Doesn't Kid Rock wear an LSU hat or sweatshirt in one of his music videos? I remember that for some reason.

I've always been a fan. "Born Free" is on my workout playlist.

People with Down Syndrome are the best people in the whole world.
I always laugh when people tell me that they feel sorry for them. Your average person with down syndrome is ten times happier than your average person without it. They just love everyone and everything. My favorite person on the entire planet a guy with down syndrome. I was working at a summer camp, and he was so damn cool. He was the chillest dude you've ever met, and he had no voice box, so he whispered everything, which only made him more chill. During the potato sack races, another counselor and I carried him through each jump on our shoulders. It was a photo finish at the line, and everyone was going nuts. I had tears in my eyes because he was so damn happy.
I completely agree! Our good friends have a 2yr old with Downs. He is the coolest, happiest baby/kid to be around. If you're having a shitty day, go visit and hangout with someone with DS. They will change your mood in a hurry!

I went to a Metallica concert in Atlanta in the early 2000's. Kid Rock, Korn, and System of the Down played before Metallica. James Hetfield was sick and couldn't sing that night, and the evening almost turned out to be a big bummer if Metalica couldn't go out on stage. But Kid Rock came out and sang lead with Metallica and he was pretty awesome. Guys from Korn and SoD came out and jammed with Metallica too. What could have been a huge disappointing evening turned out to be a one of a kind event. Metallica did give a makeup concert a couple of months later, but honestly Metallica jamming out with Kid Rock and the Korn guys turned out to be a much better show.
