Kid Rock is the man.
I've never seen or met him, but all of my friends who work in the music industry in Nashville say he's a legitimately cool guy that will drink a cheap beer with anyone willing to pull up a bar stool. Hope I get the chance one day. He also does a TON for charity and doesn't get any press for it really.
ETA:
I know nothing about his music, background, or politics in general, just that everyone says he's awesome IRL in an industry with a ton of pricks.
