Probably not. More likely to be the Covid shot.

Time to ban it for the rest of the world

These chips are changed every year. The new chip just came out this year. So no you didn't eat the same one that killed that may have killed the kid. I know a mexican guy who did it at work. He has his clothes stripped off laying on the bathroom floor in his drawers in the fetal position. He claimed the pain in his stomach was unbearable

The less spicy foods affect you there is a higher chance you simply don't have as many TRPV1 receptors as other people.
Or... You're a spice junky.
I put The End in my pickled eggs.
That's 4 million.
But the one chip challenge isn't that hot.
Now, death nut challenge... Those can get legit.

Correct, you can teach the receptors not to work by overworking them. Once you get into the cycle it takes more and more to get them to work.

I don't think I've hit the point where they are burnt out, but after eating a dried reaper, nothing else really registers as that "OMG I'm going to die"
The only ones I can legitimately say do not need to be marketed to kids are the lil nitro gummy bear and the toe of satan.
Too much extract. You can fight off the burn. But the intestinal discomfort is NOT for the faint of heart.

A spicy chip didn’t kill him, an underlying condition did. That chip ain’t all that.

“The box says keep out of the hands of children. It says it’s for adult consumption only. Why are y’all selling it to a 12-year-old child?”
This couldn't be a better example of personal responsibility over law. They sell it to kids because it's a corn chip with spices on it. It's a food item not a pint of rum or pack of cigarettes. A kid can buy a bottle of bleach or rat poison and that wouldn't do well if consumed. At some point you have to assume a coffin shaped package that says don't fricking eat me is enough for an intelligent society.
