I went cheap and got some Amazon essentials golf shorts and they fit great, comfortable, good length.. to be determined on how well they hold up.

They hold up great, I ended up buying every color

They all seem to be short and tight these days.

It was good enough for Thomas Magnum.

There is no way 9” inseams are 3” above his knee unless he is shaped like a jackass

I can’t imagine paying $100 for a pair of shorts. What makes them so great?

Walmart George brand for $9.98.
Almost disposable. I started wearing these around the house instead of gym shorts and they’re actually more comfortable than gym shorts.

They are lined so you don’t wear briefs.

Also, they are so well made they will last a long long time.

Comfort.

They're that nasty tech fabric though. Outside the gym, why not just get a decent pair of cotton shorts?

Define short, anything longer than a 7" inseam is sloppy looking.

Anything shorter than 8" inseam and my stick & balls are forced to one side or the other of the seam. I like to give them enough space to move from one leg to the other, if they want too.
