He may not have taken any drugs willingly, especially considering the suspect’s past history of allegedly drugging and robbing men. The toxicology report should give a better idea as to whether it was the type of drugs someone willingly take or if he was roofied. For all we know now, he could’ve just been drinking at a bar and the suspect saw he was tipsy and alone, making him an easier target for her to slip something in his drink without him realizing it and then get him to take her back to his hotel while he wasn’t in his right mind.

shite happens. Could the adopted kid have possibly been treated differently than the biological kid and turned out different because she didn’t feel like she got the same love as the biological kids?

Well thats not the case here. Hopefully the grandparents are still around and young enough to raise a toddler or that at least one of the parents had a sibling who can step up to raise the kid as their own.

I think it has more to do with typically kids who are up for adoption have very sketchy parents (biological). Mother likely did drugs when preggo, one or both parents had some sort of mental illness that might be hereditary.

The kids start out with the cards stacked against them.

If you come from a set of normal parents that die tragically and you have decent adoptive parents you will be fine.


I don't think people give enough credence to mental issues affecting your social status. It wouldn't surprise me if 80% of poor people have some sort of underlying mental issues.
