What made KB special was having old toys at crazy reduced rates. I seriously doubt the new KB will be doing that.

Glad to hear this. I worked at a KB Toys during the holidays years ago. Was fun.

What makes you think this when all evidence points to the contrary?

Probably all the evidence that suggests your generalization is wrong.

Nearly all studies show that when a brick and mortar store closes, its online sales in that market drop drastically. Not a long term strategy to just close up shop. They will need to reduce footprints and become more efficient, but they’re not going away.

With Amazon and eBay charging taxes now wouldn't that cause brick and mortar to make a comeback?

KB used to be in literally every mall in the country. I remember it was almost like going to Disney World if I was lucky to go to a ToysRUs that was so much bigger but only in big towns.

Did anyone else have this childhood fantasy of being able to do one of those five minute toy runs that they always showed on Nickelodeon? I had a plan of attack and everything: legos and video games

Hope they open one up here in BR area. Was heartbroken I would never get to see the look on my little ones faces going into a toy store.
