Yes, I was there as a 10 year old marching for them. Is that what you wanted to hear?

Guess they should have just stabbed white people and they would have been fine.

They get a special cord for that honor.

His parents probably shouldn’t allow it. They should probably keep him hidden and away from ridicule until the trial.

You edited to this, but before said

He’s innocent until proven guilty so he should be allowed to graduate.

You are correct, he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, however, is it not against school policy to bring a weapon to campus or a school event? At minimum he should be expelled for that.

I don't think there is much, if any, evidence of Anthony not being guilty, but he's still innocent until proven guilty.

lol, this is not how school works.

You don’t get to sit in front of a jury of your peers. You get disciplined by the Vice Principal or disciplinarian who can punish you without any evidence.

Have you considered just not positing instead of looking like a buffoon?

It’s not that deep. Kids are held out of graduation all the time for behavior without being in a criminal trial.

Hopefully people boo him

Article says he's not being allowed to participate in the actual graduation ceremony or walk across the stage. Sounds like they'll just let someone pickup his diploma from the school office or mail it to him.

Shouldn't even be granted that though because he should be expelled. Regardless of whether or not his self defense claim holds any merit and how his court case goes, he brought a knife to a school track meet. A student bringing a weapon to a school event is grounds for expulsion at any school in the country.

Man. Imagine if the roles were reversed, and Cameron Anthony the white guy was allowed to graduate after having stabbed Austiniquan Metcalf at a school event.

I wouldn't be able to drive into midtown/downtown Atlanta without a brick being thrown through my window.

I feel bad for you. You don't realize someone like him possesses no morals, accountability, or shame.

It is literally impossible to him to feel humility, especially when he feels what this fine young man did was noble.

Make no mistake, to people like him, this is just a start. They want more of this and they want to rub the two-tier justice system in your face. This is revenge.

Then he should be expelled and not allowed to graduate.

Damn.. So he was good and then he got caught and they didn't let him graduate? Was he just not able to attend the ceremony or did he have to go back another year?

I don't care whether or not they let the Anthony dude graduate.. It isn't going to do him much good in prison

If that’s what’s done normally then the same standard should be kept here.

He presumably hasn't done any coursework since the first week of April, and finals are in May, which he wouldn't have taken either. He probably got assigned a 60 for not turning anything in from that "super red" county.
