I understand that, but before they go that route they are responsible for making sure the other lane is clear.

Again, she acted like a horrible c*** and should have just moved. I am not making excuses for her.

But I also think the driver made a mistake getting himself in a position where he was forced to rely on her to do the right thing so he could move forward. She was clearly in her own lane, he needed her to back up so he could cross into her lane. If you put yourself in a position where you are relying on another driver to do the right thing you will be disappointed 90% of the time. It’s sad but it is just what this shite world has turned into.

He should have waited until he was sure the lane was clear before he made a move that would take up multiple lanes and force other drivers to back up.

Did you even listen to the audio off the video? Right at the beginning the semi driver says he was in the process of making his turn when the woman drove up to that point and blocked his effort to complete the turn, then refused to back up so they could both be on their way.

And going by the way the woman reacted, I'd say the driver was 100% correct in his description of how things went down.

I have a Garmin 46 for the windshield and a couple of mirror cams pointed down each side. The only thing I cant record is behind the trailer, I've covered my arse as much as I can to prevent liability if I ever were in an accident.

Good grief is this ever a terrible take.

And as I've stated, there's a lot of grocery stores/retail stores/warehouses in this country that are one way in and one way out for semis in neighborhoods that are entirely too small for big trucks - the driver gets no discretion on options of going there or getting out. If we did get choices, we'd deliver to nothing but places that are the sizes of Walmart Supercenters and their distribution centers that are all built next to highways located at interstate exits which are cakewalks in and out.

Apparently doesn't understand.

Pretty sure in the video the guy said he was half-way through his turn and she came flying up. I doubt he turned knowing he wasn't going to make it and she'd have to back up. She wasn't there when he started the turn, so she impeded him.

So obviously you think exactly like this lady, and because it's "your" lane he needs to go around.

Well in the video he said that and she said he "raced" to turn before her. We weren't there so we don't know.

"Obviously" you can't read for shite because I have said in every post she should have just backed up and let him go by in every one of my posts.

I know first hand about people like this. I occasionally have to back a trailer into a driveway off a busy 4 lane street. Rare is the time that someone will actually slow down a bit to help me out. Most often people turn from off of a side street and race right past me as fast as they can.

What ever happened to seeing someone making a tough maneuver with an oversized rig or a trailer and being polite for a minute by slowing down to let them proceed?

I often slow down or stop to give people driving trailers and 18 wheelers a little space to turn or back up. Doesn't cost me a damned thing to be nice about it.

That bitch and people like her suck.

How crappy is that driver if after 31 years experience he is still putting himself in positions like that.

You've never actually seen an 18 wheeler being driven before have you?

For some reason I'm not seeing that. What I'm getting out of that video is she is living alone with 14 cats and there's not a man in the world who would want to deal with that level of crazy.

So, bitter, frustrated, opinionated and loudmouthed is what her lot in life is all about.

I wonder what the original Karen thinks every time she sees a "Karen" story.

I can see it going one of two ways.

She's either changed her name by now or has a bunch of pics like the Biden one with the caption "I did that" printed on it.
