It seems the promoter (also the company catering the event) has a criminal history of fraud.
Bethany put this legal disclaimer on their post
"This is not an event organized or put on by Bethany Church. All event questions can be directed to anationevents.com and their team. Bethany Church is not responsible for ticket sales, damages, or changes to the event. Bethany Church is only providing facilities rental."
10 minutes after the tickets went on sale, the prices for them went up.
I'm starting to think both Bethany and everyone else was scammed by this. We'll see. Hopefully I'm wrong (because I bought a ticket, ha).
