The fact that you’re blaming the one day 3% drop on tariffs.

That's not what I said. I said the market has reacted poorly to Trump tariffs every time they're announced. The market often overreacts.

People who hate facts and consider news they don't agree with to be"fake" will likely not like this story.

And only $1 billion in market value lost via the stock market, not to mention the ensuing lawsuits.

Ben Shapiro made a great point, Kap didn’t sacrifice everything. His NFL career was almost over. He’s made himself more $ in the long run as this woke dummy.

From who? Who is paying him more now than he could have commanded had he backed off the protests?

Why are you even bringing up tariffs when someone stated that Nike stock was down 3% today?

His career was waning, he's trying to make his money via lawsuit

Maybe. I don't think Kaep was playing the long game and hoping for this collusion case. My opinion of Karp's intellect is very low.

lets be honest.....hes a 30 year old washed up back up QB....lets say he had a job last year and this year.....maybe he made a few million......then what?? He's done..he not good enough to play until his mid to late 30's...

He's cashing in now on long term financial security. He will be just fine.....as matter of fact he will be better off going forward that he would have been had he not sat or knelt and kept playing football.

He didnt sacrifice a fricking thing

What did Kap sacrifice?

he made 19 MILLION dollars his last year of his contract...

that's 630k for 30 years...

let that soak in...

He took seat first..

Then he was proven wrong on the Mike BRown case he was all fired up about...

5 officers were murdered for Black people being idiots who resisted arrest..

to heck with all of this nonesense...

I don't want to hear about oppression and injustice until more black people stand up and call BS when it's BS....

If a fool does something to get shot, they say "he's a fool"

instead we get this "but the officer should have been trained better"

That doesn't mean anything. Every person on earth knows about Nike. They don't need any exposure.

Most Nike backlash folks are outspoken Trump supporters. Pointing out Nike was down 3% today and suggesting they made a poor decision is as much an overreaction as saying Trump's tariffs are a disaster because the Dow is down 300 points on the news.

It's one day. The merits of the decision will be evident in due time.

Do YOU????

He's set for life....he will make more money over the long term never playing another down of football than he would if he would have had a contract last year or this year....

Tell me again....what did he sacrifice??

I disagree, but perhaps I'm not giving Kaep enough credit for this long play.

Like 10 people on here that they would never buy Nike again. That has to be worth millions right?

10 people on the OT Lounge? That could be worth billions.
