Scoot was fine at morning drive doing comedy and spinning records. He is a tool at talk radio, sad because he still has such a good radio voice.

Lol, does he still say that? I haven’t heard Kaare’s show in over 20 years, but i used to listen to his show every day on 870 circa the late 90s, back when cellphones were definitely a new thing.. funny that his shtick doesnt seem to have changed.
I’d occasionally call in, and i think he had Saints CB Ashley Ambrose as a regular guest on Thursday nights(?). I could totally be imagining that though.. The other thing I remember is that whenever someone would call in from New Orleans East, it was always such and such calling in “from out in the East, where the rents are the least.”
