Pause for serious question. Do you all think that it's currently the calm before the storm, or that this has been overhyped and there won't be much trouble? From what I've been reading on news reports it seems like everyone knew what the findings would be, but now they are more upset about the way it was leaked (WAPO). As far as I know, they are still just reports (AP, etc. have joined in), but no official word from DOJ.

Interesting question Alton had issues
Maybe they figured this is the play?

You are a brave man.
It was pretty calm out there. People parking in empty lots cooking. I saw a food truck. From what it looks like, people are going to be out there all night.

Not one News source out there courageous enough to publically state that Lynch's DOJ sat on this So Obama wouldn't betray his race.
Freaking cowards.

On the morning after the Sunday protest downtown where they tried to get on the interstate, there was at least 1 unit at every exit on I-10 from Seigen to downtown. It was awesome.

This is not a fricking victory or a game a-hole. The guy died, the cops lives are pretty much ruined and three other Baton Rouge law officers are dead as a direct result of this incident. This has strained a city and ruined many lives. Grow the frick up.

This is a fricking victory. Two innocent men were made to look like monsters by the liberal media because they did their job. Today, after a year of them and their families waiting in fear, they found out that justice has been served, and they can continue to do their jobs without fearing wrongful punishment. This is something worth celebrating, that our justice system is not so corrupt to put these innocent men on trial, despite the forces working against them
