Word I got last week was that they were asking that a lot of Pointe Coupee cops go to BR to help out. Guess other parishes will step in also.

I bet DOJ planned to release today but saw the bad weather coming tomorrow and decided tomorrow would be much better for quelling unrest. Then some assbag at WaPo decided to publish something he heard from his dog groomer.

He did say that. He later claimed he was just joking. He also referred to black colleagues as "boys" and said this or something similar by his own admission:

Pause for serious question. Do you all think that it's currently the calm before the storm, or that this has been overhyped and there won't be much trouble? From what I've been reading on news reports it seems like everyone knew what the findings would be, but now they are more upset about the way it was leaked (WAPO). As far as I know, they are still just reports (AP, etc. have joined in), but no official word from DOJ.
