You outed this affair on Facebook didn't you?
Posted on 8/13/15 at 7:49 pm to RougeTiger
This board is peculiar. If a poster mentions cheating he/she is lambasted as scum yet, when someone asks if they should tell someone else about infidelity they get told to mind their own business.
You made the correct choice. If my wife was cheating I'd want someone to tell me.

Yes, I may have POSTED it in spite. I won't argue with that. I was just annoyed that I was blasted for telling someone the truth. I understand that it is unfortunate and difficult to deal with, especially coming from a complete stranger. I also, agree that I probably should have handled the situation differently. That's fine, anyone can say that in hindsight about just about anything they do in life. I really wish I would have just contacted the cheater instead, and essentially gave him the choice to do the right thing or not. Really not trying to toot my own horn either I guess, just really surprised that most people would prefer to be lied to. To each his own.

Hold the fricking phone. You're saying you did this spur of the moment? It's not like this was time sensitive information. Jesus dude, come to the OT next time you need real world advice.

A complete stranger?
That was the point of all of the responses.
The OP didn't know the person he/she told that her husband was cheating on her.
That's just creepy stalker behavior.

Have you admitted that it was your woman cheating with the dude, or are you still being a hypocrite? You did this to hurt the guy that hurt you, not help the woman.

I wonder how long this husband was cheating and how long it took the girlfriend to find out?
But seriously, this guy just thrusted himself into a situation that had nothing to do with him. The max he should have done is gone to the guy and said something like "I know you're banging my friend and you're married. She's done with you."
He's still knighting for the chick (his real purpose), and the guy stops cheating (with her at least).

You goddam right!
However, I think the OP's woman was cheating with the husband based on his OP and based on his OP he handled it like a bull in a china cabinet.
A little more tact would have been better.

Absolutely. What if they are the only one who knows. Would you want to keep ignorantly going down on her tasting that guy's junk because the informant is a stranger?
Posted on 8/13/15 at 7:59 pm to Jake88
Doubtful that they are the only one who knows.
Regardless, yes, I'd rather find out from someone close to me than have a complete stranger insert himself or herself in what's clearly no one's business but mine.

So are you ever going to tell the entire story or just gonna leave your story vague as frick and drama queen on here.

You had no business saying anything to her.
Who did he harm?
You can make the case that he isn't to be applauded for his actions. But, he certainly shouldn't be criticized for them. He holds no responsibility for anything negative that occurs as a result of him informing the wife.

OP left carnage in his wake, and he is bragging on a semi-anonymous forum

You're obviously an attention whore because there is no reason to post on here otherwise. Congrats on your accomplishment.

So, if those who know you are too skittish to tell you, you'd prefer to remain ignorant and continue to believe that the "extra moisture" is hers.

I'd prefer not to be cheated on... or for my SO to come clean... or be told by a friend... and then not to know at all before some stranger randomly pops up with a pic of my SO with some other guy because he/she wants to start some shite against my SO.
