The USA and Americas in general are a different society than the rest of the world that has had 1000s of years of culture. It's not like Pakastani's just don't want their son marrying a white American (though I didn't see the movie), most other traditional cultures just don't want their kids marrying outside of their culture. Their parents feel the same about white people as they do blacks, Indians, asians, etc.

Is that racist? If you didn't want your son marrying a black person that's racist, if you are from Ireland and don't want your son marrying anything but an Irish girl what is that?

I also think it's one thing to not agree, it's another thing as a parent to go out of your way t dissuade the relationship.

Funny part about it is that it's usually the other way around. I dated an Indian girl (fines as frog hair) for about 6 months. Never met her parents. Her mom knew about us but forbid her to tell her dad because he'd lose his shite that she was dating a white guy. Still had secks, got to skip drama. Win win

Judd Apatow's wife is so frickin annoying. I saw her in a lot of movies and kept wondering how she suddenly seemed to get every role. Then someone said it's because her husband directs them.
She must be a hell of a lay because she's not a talented actress IMO.
