Just saw a line of light in the night sky

The wife and I are out at our fire pit when she noticed a line of light in the sky. I thought it might be the Luxor in Vegas, but it was a skinny beam with little dots throughout the beam going east to west (or west to east possibly)
Just thought I'd post it in case there's a wild fire or two in California tomorrow or Sunday
Or, in case the invasion is happening.
I took a picture, but it didn't come thru at all

It was a straight line that stayed in the sky for a few minutes with little dots appearing slowly afterwards in the line
